Tissue-Protective, End-Cutting
These tissue-protective end-cutting diamonds are recommended for time saving preparation of subgingival shoulder margins.
A significant feature is the bevelled cutting surface, designed to eliminate lacerating the adjacent tissue or undercutting the axial wall during a shoulder preparation.
TPE Diamonds are available in two different grits and 4 sizes.
Indication
In the dental practice
Coarse (C – no marking): for rapid reduction of the shoulder margin into the gingival sulcus
Fine (F – red-banded shank): for smooth finishing of shoulder margin, particularly effective when finishing subgingivally
The short shape (in coarse grit only) is recommended when accessibility is limited

Note
TPE Diamonds can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath and sterilised in an autoclave.
