Silane bonding agent for the bond between metal and veneering composite

An additional method for creating a dependable bond between the metal and composite involves the use of silane bonding systems, such as Rocatec (Espe), or Silicoater (Heraeus-Kulzer), with Solidex composite.
Solibond is simply replaced with the other manufacturer’s silane bonding agent.
The same silane bonding agent is also recommended for use when adjusting or repairing existing composite restorations and customising conventional acrylic teeth.

Solidex Primer Paste is a metal bonding system and a first opaque coat in one.
The milky, dull paste has a lower viscosity than Solidex opaque pastes and also uses adhesive monomers to bond the opaque and metal.
In this bonding technique, retention beads, e. g. Retention Beads (150 µm) from SHOFU, must be applied to the surface to be bonded.

Solidex Metal Photo Primer is an adhesive liquid which reliably bonds metals and Solidex Composite chemically to one another.
Solidex Metal Photo Primer is compatible to the Solidex Composite System and is used as a metal bonding system.
In this bonding technique, retention beads, e. g. Retention Beads (150 µm) from SHOFU, must be applied to the surface to be bonded.
A further indication is the use of Solidex Metal Photo Primer in the model casting technique, e. g. in producing metal framework in combination with Solidex PO – Solidex Pink Opaque, the pink-colored opaquer.

SHOFU has developed the M.L. Primer as a secure and durable adhesive system for bonding veneering composite and all common dental alloys.
Based on adhesive monomers M.L. Primer reliably bonds without requiring extensive processing and is resistant to moisture and thermal strains.
